Simple Society

Tatete - Japanese for "make it stand!" - is a massive brass object designed by the Simple Society and produced by JUKO, the new product line of an industrial brass factory in Gifu Prefecture, Japan.

Every Tatete is forged from a single piece of brass.  Since the surface is not treated with any coating the color of the brass will change from "pure gold" to darker and darker tones.  It might even turn bright green verdigris, or, if you prefer to polish it "shiny pure gold" again.
